Falling for Titan would be easy. Almost too easy. It makes me wonder why he’s still single. What is it that’s keeping him from a lasting relationship?

Does he even want a long-term relationship? Maybe he’s single because he doesn’t want to settle down.

My stomach sinks at the thought. I want to find forever with someone, not just a few weeks or months. It’s why I haven’t had a boyfriend in a long time. I want someone searching for their other half. Someone I can picture a future with.

And Titan? I could picture a future with him. It’s almost too clear to me. He’d build us a beautiful home that has everything we could ever want in it. We’d fill it with miniature versions of ourselves. Maybe a few dogs, chickens and even a donkey. It would be perfect. Everything I’ve ever dreamed of.

“What are you thinking about?” Titan draws lazy circles on the back of my hand. He stares at me unlike anyone else. He truly cares about my answer, he isn't just trying to keep the conversation flowing.

“Just wondering how you’re still single. I know there has to be a flaw in you, but I haven’t found it yet. Maybe that’s it. You don’t do relationships, only one-night stands.”

“Though I'm sure I have a few flaws somewhere, I'm not helping you find them.” He grins, pressing a kiss to the back of my hand. The contact has my core heating, wondering what it would be like for him to kiss me for real. “And I haven’t done relationships for a really long time. Not because I don’t want one, but because I haven’t met anyone I want to spend more than a night with.”

“You know, I just read an article that said the average person has seven sexual partners in their life.”

“Oh yeah, where do you fall in that?” His interest is officially piqued.

“I’m far below average.” I chuckle. “I’ve been with exactly two guys. Both of them were long term relationships, we dated for over two years.”

“Why’d you break up then? Is there something I should know? Do you have an extra nipple?”

“No!” I throw my head back and laugh. I’ve never been with a guy who makes me feel so relaxed all the time. “The first one was in high school. We broke up when we went to colleges on different sides of the county. The second was in college. We broke up when Demi found out he was cheating on me. Nolan beat the shit out of him. There was blood, tears and puking… all from the cheating bastard. Demi might’ve helped Nolan too.” I wince. “She kicked him in the balls so many times I’d be shocked if he can father kids. Nolan had to wrestle her to the ground and sit on her. He held her hands above her head in a death grip, but she still tried to get him off of her so she could kick my ex even more.”

“I could totally see that.
